  Dr. Howard was raised in an Army family and lived in a number of places around the country until 2000 when her family settled down in Florida. She and her husband absolutely loved it so much, they chose to raise their two girls in Central Florida.

  With a B.A. in Human Sciences, she graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2006 and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. Upon graduation, Dr. Howard practiced general dentistry for several years, during which time, she realized her strength and contentment were found in working with children and families. She made a decision to further her education and returned to N.S.U. in 2014 to begin her journey towards becoming a pediatric dental specialist. 

  Dr. Howard successfully completed the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certification process in 2017. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  She also holds hospital privileges at AdventHealth Orlando and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

  When not practicing dentistry, she loves to stay active: running, chasing her kids, and just about anything outside makes her happy.
